Matrix has successfully delivered a multi-user terminal for the Port of Brisbane. The terminal will service cruise vessels that are cannot transit upstream to Portside.
Matrix completed the project in 20 weeks, 10 weeks ahead of programme.

Matrix undertook an amount of design changes to meet the Port’s needs, as well as changes to the external cladding from FC to an aluminium finish to reduce the amount of maintenance.

To accelerate the design/construction, the building was designed as a portal frame structure allowing the major component to be pre-fabricated off site, while the footing, in-ground services and concrete slabs were constructed.

The flow of information between the Port and workface was of high importance to ensure the programme was met.
